Senior Automation Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled and versatile Automation Engineer with deep expertise in UI and Word automation. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in tools like FLAUI, Selenium, and programming in C# along with the ability to leverage AI tools such as Cursor AI. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality and team efficiency by combining automation expertise with cross-functional collaboration and manual validation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using FLAUI using c#.

2. Automate Word-based workflows, particularly involving Ribbon and task pane functionality, using Word Interop and C#.

3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, customer support and ensure quality delivery.

4. Create detailed manual test cases for new feature requirements and reproduce/debug customer-reported bugs to ensure issue resolution.

5. Use Cursor AI to accelerate test case generation, improve test strategy, and streamline automation maintenance.

6. Participate in all phases of the QA process – from planning, design, execution, and reporting – to continuously improve product quality.

7. Build tools and scripts that enhance test efficiency, support automation pipelines, and enable productivity across teams.

8. Analyze test results, debug failures, and contribute to defect reporting and risk mitigation strategies.

9. Provide support and mentorship to junior QA members or developers on automation techniques and testing standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 10 years of experience in automation and software quality assurance.

2. Strong programming skills in C#, with experience in UI automation.

3. Hands-on expertise with FLAUI, Selenium and Word automation tools.

4. Familiarity with AI-enhanced development/testing platforms like Cursor AI.

5. Experience in writing and executing manual test cases for complex workflows and user scenarios.

6. Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

8. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

Nice to Have:

1. Experience working in legal tech, document automation, or enterprise product environments.

2. Interest or experience in productivity tooling, AI-driven QA, or custom test utilities.

3. Playwright automation.
