As the world adopts AI transformation we provide enterprises with advanced cyber security applications and services Modern cyber security requires innovative approaches and continuous adaptation and learning Our products incorporate recent developments in AI and ML for cyber security The Microsoft Defender suite is a key product line developed by our team which includes Microsoft Defender Antivirus AV and Advanced Threat Protection ATP solutions Mobile endpoints are more prevalent due to ease of access and they pose a threat vector for the enterprise data We are focused on delivering highly performant experiences that are simple for mobile users through our products These products and services play a foundational role in Microsoft 365 and represent a significant growth area for Microsoft We focus on delivering reliable and user-friendly products to customers Our team consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences and we aim to further develop this diversity The team values ongoing learning collaboration with other groups and prioritising customer needs while developing cyber security products Individuals interested in contributing to accessible cyber security solutions that reach users globally are encouraged to consider joining our team MDEINDIA Responsibilities As Group Engineering Manager you will lead and develop a diverse team focused on delivering exceptional user experiences and protection for Mobile endpoints You will collaborate with Engineering Managers to build a sustainable organisation ensuring product experiences and services are scalable reliable and optimised Your role includes providing strong leadership fostering collaboration and trust maintaining a data-driven culture and advancing Microsoft 365 Security adoption Success in this position requires comfort with start-up environments a drive for long-term architecture and motivation to solve complex security challenges MDEINDIA Qualifications More than 15 years of experience as a software engineer on large-scale commercial projects Experience in mentoring and developing talent Communication skills and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams including Software Engineers Program Managers Security Researchers and Data Scientists Over 4 years of experience designing end user applications on mobile platform iOS and or Android Over 4 years of experience building an entire app from scratch and ideally a portfolio of apps featured in the App Store Over 4 years of experience in development principles and patterns Over 4 years of Swift and Objective-C with iOS internals and or Java JNI and Android internals Skills in debugging and problem-solving Knowledge of secure software development life cycle Familiarity with software development tools such as source control systems GIT automated build systems compilers software validation systems project tracking and lifecycle management systems Ability to work independently and manage technical and architectural dependencies Holds a BS or MS degree in Computer Science MDEINDIA Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age ancestry color family or medical care leave gender identity or expression genetic information marital status medical condition national origin physical or mental disability political affiliation protected veteran status race religion sex including pregnancy sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws regulations and ordinances
