Junior Social Marketing Executive – Job Description

About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and creative Junior Social Marketing Executive who can handle the end-to-end management of our social media presence. You'll bring fresh ideas for reels and posters, stay on top of social media trends, craft engaging and fun video content, and analyze performance to continually optimize our outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day activities across social media platforms: ideation, planning, creation, posting, engagement, and monitoring (Echoes Indeed's common responsibilities)
- Conceptualize and produce trending and creative reels, posters, and short-form video content.
- Monitor trending content and platforms; recommend and produce formats that drive engagement (inspired by Cutshort's emphasis on trend-based content creation)
- Use analytical tools to track performance, compile reports, and suggest improvements—aligning with expectations from Indeed's latest guide
- Collaborate with designers, marketing team, or freelancers to produce visuals, videos, and copy.
- Bring new creative ideas for social content (reels, video, posters), while ensuring consistent brand tone and style.
- Stay updated on platform updates, trends, and algorithm shifts to keep content fresh and relevant.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong creative thinking and writing skills — especially for grabbing attention in short-form copy (as outlined by Indeed)

- Basic video and poster editing skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok), and understanding of trending formats (reels, shorts).
- Analytical mindset — ability to interpret engagement metrics and propose optimizations.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring error-free and brand-aligned content.
