A civil site engineer oversees construction projects to ensure they meet design specifications are completed safely and stay within budget and schedule Key responsibilities include reviewing plans coordinating with contractors managing onsite operations conducting inspections ensuring quality control resolving technical issues and reporting on project progress The role requires a blend of technical organizational and supervisory skills for various infrastructure projects like roads bridges and buildings Core Responsibilities Project Oversight Manage and supervise all aspects of a construction project from start to finish Plan Design Review Analyze project plans technical drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with construction activities Quality Control Conduct site inspections and ensure construction work adheres to quality standards and design blueprints Coordination Liaise with clients architects subcontractors and other construction professionals Resource Management Manage materials equipment and labor to ensure efficient project execution Budget Schedule Monitor project budgets resources and timelines taking action to avoid overruns and delays Technical Problem-Solving Address and resolve technical difficulties discrepancies and issues that arise on-site Reporting Prepare and submit progress reports site documentation and technical files to stakeholders Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to safety regulations legal requirements and environmental standards throughout the project Key Skills Qualifications Technical Proficiency Strong understanding of civil engineering principles construction methods and design software Project Management Ability to manage budgets schedules and resources effectively Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders Problem-Solving Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges on-site Leadership Ability to supervise and mentor construction personnel and teams Job Type Full-time Pay 8 508 25 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
