Role Overview

As an Analyst at Aarki, Inc., you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and optimizing our advertising strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, uncover actionable insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our advertising campaigns. Your expertise in data analysis and your ability to communicate findings effectively will be essential in shaping our success. This role requires in-office presence and will be based in our Bengaluru office.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Operations team to manage and support our on-premises data center infrastructure, focusing on Dell enterprise servers, containerized environments, and Ubuntu-based systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems engineering, server lifecycle management, virtualization, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain physical infrastructure within on-premises data centers using Dell PowerEdge servers and associated hardware.
- Administer and support Ubuntu Linux systems, ensuring performance, security, and high availability.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Perform OS-level and firmware updates, system patching, and routine maintenance.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Bash/Python scripting.
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or similar.
- Provide support for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with network, development, and security teams to align infrastructure with business needs and security best practices.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, procedures, and incident responses.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
- Proficient in managing Ubuntu Server (16.04-24.04) in production environments.
- Experience working with Dell hardware, including firmware/BIOS configuration and iDRAC management.
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker/Podman) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Rancher/MicroK8s).
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Proxmox, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Understanding of security best practices in infrastructure design and Linux hardening.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or Dell certifications a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating infrastructure with deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to hybrid environments with cloud integration (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Fluentd, Grafana).
