Role Overview The Project and Network Lead will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure setup projects for new GCC sites. This includes client requirement gathering, infrastructure design coordination, procurement management, vendor engagement, installation oversight, and final handover. The role requires strong project management, vendor coordination, and documentation skills to ensure smooth delivery of IT infrastructure in line with organizational standards, timelines, and budgets. Key Responsibilities - Client & Design Coordination- Engage with clients to gather IT infrastructure requirements and coordinate HLD/LLD preparation with architects and facilities teams. - Procurement & Vendor Management- Develop BoM/BoQ, manage RFPs, evaluate vendors, and oversee procurement in alignment with compliance and documentation standards. - Project Documentation & Delivery-Maintain all project-related documentation including approvals, contracts, and handover records for seamless execution. - Implementation Oversight- Ensure site readiness, coordinate logistics, and manage vendor activities for timely infrastructure setup. - Risk & Change Management- Create risk registers and mitigation plans, ensuring minimal disruption during infrastructure changes. - Budgeting & Financial Control- Monitor budgets, optimize costs, and prepare financial reports for stakeholders. - Infrastructure Deployment & Integration- Lead LAN/WAN, wireless, data center, and cloud integration projects with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. - Reporting & Stakeholder Communication- Deliver regular dashboards and updates on project progress, risks, and milestones using agile/hybrid methodologies. Required Skills & Competencies - Project Management, Technical Understanding, Vendor & Procurement Management, Documentation & Compliance, Communication & Coordination. Qualifications & Experience - 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure project delivery, preferably in a GCC or corporate environment. - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline (mandatory) - preferred for candidates aspiring to lead multiple GCC IT projects. - Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors. - Project Management Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) added advantage - Networking & Infrastructure Certifications: - Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise/Datacenter) - Aruba Certified Solutions / Juniper equivalent certifications - SD-WAN / Cloud Networking (Meraki, Fortinet, etc.) - CompTIA Security+ / CISSP / CISM for security and compliance leadership - IT Service Management: ITIL v4 Foundation / Intermediate (preferred for governance and process alignment)
