Job Description Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. Responsibilities are within the supply chain and logistics function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines. Job Summary Work closely with the SCM team and cross function groups to ensure EPS Bangalore Manufacturing Supply Chain Management performance metrics are reached or exceeded. Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities - New supplier creation, supplier base consolidation management; - Parts price matrix maintenance and other parameter update to system; - Supplier development, management and of supplier performance continuous improvement. Promptly respond and audit the supplier at their facility or Nordson's facility to address issues as required; - Negotiate purchasing agreements such as terms, conditions, logistics and pricing with suppliers as required; - Follow all work processes, rules and expected behaviors as Nordson employees; - Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Education And Experience Requirements - College education or above, major in mechatronics or similar background. - 3 years working experience; sourcing, purchasing experiences within a multinational company is a plus. - The experience of Project sourcing is a plus. - Small volume and high mix products experience; - Familiar with Sourcing process including [supplier development process, Localization process, product cost down process, supplier phase out process,] and purchase order and delivery management. Preferred Skills And Abilities - Ability of project management, drawing reading, cost analysis and negotiation; - Familiar with mechanical parts such machining, sheet metal; basic knowledge about Electrical / Electronics components, can read the specification and identify the key features, then make the choice. - Strong communication skill with internal and external teams. - Be familiar with SAP or similar ERP. - Be good at using MS-office software (excel, word, PPT, etc.) - English communication ability both in writing and speaking. - Teamwork spirit, responsible, quick learner and under pressure skills. Travel Required Domestic - 30%
