DESCRIPTIONAmazon Prime Video is seeking an experienced dynamic content development executive to lead the creative development of new Indian Original Series The candidate should have significant development and production experience a track record of success in creating content strategy based on customer insights engaging audiences with powerful stories and ideas developing series from idea to launch deep relationships with the Indian talent writers and the wider creative community a passion for innovation and an ability to lead and grow teams The role will have responsibility for understanding target customer cohorts building a pipeline of stories by working with talent and the creative community and delight customers with exciting shows The candidate will join and a self-motivated passionate and collaborative team environment reporting into the Head of India originals Help create the future of Indian digital entertainment with Amazon Key job responsibilities Scout and develop new story ideas into exciting series that delight our customersCreatively collaborate with talented creators both established names and fresh new voices to bring their passion projects to lifeDeep dive into the creative process encompassing script development casting budgeting edits music and final cut ensuring bar raising contentIdentify consumer content preferences analyse viewership data and generate insights for the next set of breakthrough storiesPartner with multiple internal teams across Amazon MGM Studios Marketing Social PR from pitch to launchDisplay a passion for content championing creators and stories and constantly look to innovate while raising the bar for high quality storytellingA day in the life A typical day will involve meet exciting creators and hearing the stories they are itching to tell You will read scripts providing creative inputs in the service of the story You will watch rough cuts and edits seeing the scripts come to life Your colleagues in marketing may solicit your views on how best to introduce our shows to our customers You are likely to have a chat with your colleagues about an article play book or piece of art that could spark an idea for an exciting story About the team The team developing Hindi original series is self motivated passionate and collaborative always looking to raise the bar on storytelling They have been at the forefront of creating rooted authentic and passionate stories many of which have gone on to become the most loved shows in India and around the world BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 9 years of creative executive experience - 10 years of showrunning producing experience - Experience working with other departments such as casting production research PR business and legal affairs - Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production - Experience across several areas of unscripted production development commissioning PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working at a premium television network or a world-class production company - Experience managing film and television development and production and ability to shepherd a project from idea to launch Amazon
