Job Title: General Manager – MEP Business Development

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced General Manager – MEP Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue expansion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth Strategy – Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and market expansion objectives.
2. Market Expansion & Client Acquisition – Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both government and private sector MEP projects.
3. Stakeholder Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis – Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and deliver tailored client solutions.
6. Pipeline & Opportunity Management – Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
7. Deal Negotiation & Closure – Lead contract negotiations, ensuring business development activities align with the company's strategic objectives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the MEP sector.
- Proven track record in securing and managing fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent.
- Experience with CRM software and business development tools.
- In-depth knowledge of local market regulations and industry standards.
