Job Description Job Description: Cloud Administrator Department: IT / Cloud Operations Location: Delhi (SDA) Job Type: Permanent Experience: Minimum 4-6 years (preferably in managing cloud infrastructure and services) Position: AM - Cloud Administrator About The Role The Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. This role involves provisioning resources, monitoring usage, ensuring compliance, and supporting cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, & GCP), Github administration, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize systems effectively. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Management - Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources (compute, storage, networking). - Monitor cloud performance, uptime, and resource utilization to ensure reliability and efficiency. - Manager Github accounts, DevOps, IAM & security Architecture, Security and Compliance - Implement and manage security measures, firewalls, and access controls. - Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies. Backup and Disaster Recovery - Set up and maintain automated backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies. - Perform routine testing to ensure quick recovery in case of system failure. Performance Optimization - Monitor and analyze system performance to identify improvement opportunities. - Optimize resource allocation to maintain cost-effectiveness without compromising performance. Automation and Scripting - Use automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) to streamline processes and reduce manual effort. Support and Troubleshooting - Provide technical support for cloud-based applications and services. - Resolve performance, configuration, and access issues efficiently. Collaboration - Work closely with IT, DevOps, and security teams to align cloud infrastructure with organizational needs. Key Deliverables - Secure, optimized, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. - High availability and performance of cloud services. - Accurate monitoring reports and resource utilization insights. - Compliance with industry standards and internal policies. - Effective disaster recovery and backup strategies in place. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Good to have certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional) preferred. Technical Skills - Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), networking and Devops concepts. - Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor). - Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Soft Skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. - Collaborative mindset with attention to detail.
