About SlewMaster SlewMaster is a global manufacturer of slew drives, slew rings, and rotary motion solutions used in industries such as renewable energy, heavy equipment, and material handling. Our Chennai facility is equipped with advanced CNC turning, milling, VMC, and HMC machines, supported by a skilled team committed to precision, quality, and efficiency. We're growing fast — and we're looking for a hands-on PPC Engineer who can plan, schedule, and optimize CNC and assembly operations to keep our production running smoothly and on time. What You'll Do - Create and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly CNC machining and assembly schedules. - Allocate jobs across turning, milling, VMC, and HMC machines based on capacity and priority. - Coordinate with design, stores, and procurement for tooling, fixture, and material readiness. - Track machine utilization, downtime, and WIP — and take action to remove bottlenecks. - Align machining outputs with assembly flow for seamless delivery. - Manage and update schedules in ERP (preferably Odoo or SAP). - Report key production KPIs: utilization, OTD, lead time, and rework rates. - Support Lean, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to reduce lead times and improve productivity. What You'll Bring - Solid knowledge of CNC operations (turning, milling, VMC, HMC). - Experience in production planning, capacity analysis, and ERP/MRP-based scheduling. - Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams. - Understanding of machine cycle times, process sequences, and tooling setup. - Familiarity with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement principles. - Strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering. - 5–10 years of PPC experience in CNC machining, automotive components, or heavy engineering.
