Job Purpose The Senior Software Engineer in our team needs to identify problems with product teams and processes. Help in investigating potential causes and propose solutions / next steps. Identify process areas that require improvement. As a Senior Software Engineer, this person is also responsible for identifying best tools to use, enhance code quality using available tools and technology, mentor other team members. What You Will Do - Lead in identifying problems in the existing process and discuss with product teams. - Propose solutions/next steps. - Bring best practices in all development processes including writing unit test cases, peer review etc. - Plan and estimate delivery of medium-large tasks. - Proactively inform the team when work is likely to be delayed. - Effectively prioritize own workload and focus across many streams of work. - Explain complex technical concepts to peers. - Nurture empathy and no blame culture in the team. - Mentor and guide rest of the team members as required. - And other duties as assigned. What To Bring - University Degree, preferably B.Tech. Degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline. - Strong Development background to write complex logic and write unit test cases with given requirements. - Understand requirement, identify its impact on existing business flow and build logic to implement it along with mitigating its impact. - Demonstrate technical prowess including solving complex problems, programming skills (Java and/or other computer programming languages), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture. - Front End technologies - React Native - HTML - Javascript - CSS - Back End technologies - Java - Spring Boot - Apache Camel - Database - Oracle - PlSql - Security Mechanisms - Spring security - OAuth2 - Fluent in English, both written and verbal Nice To Have - Security Mechanisms - KeyCloak Additional Details - Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
