Job Description Back to Careers Page Manager / Senior Manager - Full Time - Uttar Pradesh Job Role: Land Acquisition (Solar Projects) Reports To: AVP Project Development Key Responsibilities Site Identification & Survey - Identify suitable land parcels for Solar PV plants. - Conduct site surveys and authenticate land ownership using government records. Documentation & Compliance - Collect approved land maps, papers, and conduct site measurement and marking. - Prepare and manage documentation for possession, mutation, demarcation, and conversion of land. - Draft deeds and agreements (sale, lease, power of attorney, registry, mortgage) and scrutinize revenue documents. Government Liaison & Approvals - Coordinate with DM, ADM, SDM, Tehsildar, Registrar, Revenue Inspector, Gram Panchayat, and other officials. - Obtain approvals, NOCs, Government Orders, and cabinet clearances for projects. - Obtain approval for minor permission. - Obtain permission for revenue land allotment. - Secure permissions for land purchase beyond ceiling limits and for SC/ST land acquisition. Budgeting & Negotiation - Prepare and monitor land acquisition budgets. - Negotiate with farmers and stakeholders for fair acquisition terms. Cross-Functional Support - Support legal, finance, and project teams during acquisition and compliance processes. - Assist in resolving disputes and ensuring timely project execution. - Daily monitoring and reporting. Non-negotiable Skills And Abilities - Land Laws Expertise Deep knowledge of UP land laws, revenue codes, and solar project regulations. - Legal Drafting Ability to draft and review deeds, agreements, and statutory documents. - Negotiation & Liaison Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with farmers and government officials. - Compliance Orientation Familiarity with mutation, conversion, and ceiling limit permissions Persona - Detail-Oriented Meticulous in documentation and compliance - Influential Communicator Builds trust with stakeholders and authorities. - Resilient & Adaptive Handles challenges in remote areas and dynamic regulatory environments. - Proactive Identifies issues and resolves them before escalation. - Ethical & Transparent Maintains integrity in negotiations and legal processes - Flexible attitude Ready to put extra efforts whenever needed Interview Process - Round 1 Screening by DGM Land (Head Office) - Round 2 Interview with GM Project Development - Round 3 Interview with AVP Project Development Education And Experience Required - Experience Minimum 8-15 years experience in land acquisition for infrastructure/renewable projects - Education Graduate in Law / Commerce / Agriculture / Civil Engineering.
