Videographer / Photographer – Indian Ethnic Wear IntroductionWe are looking for a creative, talented, and passionate Videographer/Photographer who specializes in Indian ethnic wear photography and videography. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary fashion trends, and the ability to create visually compelling photo and video content for promotional, e-commerce, and marketing purposes.This role requires hands-on experience in fashion photography, video shoots, editing, and creating engaging content that showcases the elegance and uniqueness of sarees, lehengas, salwar suits, kurta sets, and other ethnic wear. The candidate must be creative, trend-aware, and capable of adapting content for digital platforms, e-commerce portals, and social media campaigns.Key Responsibilities1. Photography & Videography Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality product photos and videos of Indian ethnic wear for websites, e-commerce platforms, and marketing campaigns. Conduct model shoots, flat lays, lookbooks, and lifestyle shoots to highlight the design, fabric, and detailing of ethnic garments. Capture 360° product videos, slow-motion videos, and styling reels for digital promotions. Set up proper lighting, background, and composition to achieve professional-quality visuals. Coordinate with models, stylists, and makeup artists during shoots. 2. E-Commerce & Catalog Photography Shoot clear, sharp, and color-accurate images for online product listings. Ensure consistency in image sizes, angles, and editing style across all e-commerce platforms. Capture detailed close-up shots of embroidery, fabrics, textures, and embellishments to enhance product visibility. 3. Social Media & Marketing Content Create engaging reels, stories, and short videos for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. Develop creative concepts to showcase products in trendy and relatable ways. Collaborate with the marketing team to produce brand-driven campaigns. Shoot behind-the-scenes (BTS) videos, styling tutorials, and influencer collaboration content. 4. Editing & Post-Production Perform photo retouching, color correction, and video editing to deliver polished outputs. Use professional editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Ensure final deliverables are optimized for web, print, and social media. 5. Shoot Planning & Coordination Work closely with the design and marketing teams to plan shoots according to collection launches. Select suitable locations, props, backgrounds, and lighting setups to match the brand aesthetics. Coordinate with external vendors, studios, and influencers for collaborations when required.Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills Proficiency in professional photography and videography techniques. Hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, tripods, lighting, and gimbals. Expertise in photo editing and video editing software like: Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro After Effects for motion graphics (optional but preferred) Understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling. Creative Skills Strong sense of fashion aesthetics related to Indian ethnic wear. Ability to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns. Knowledge of trending styles, poses, and fashion photography standards. Familiarity with digital marketing trends and how to create content that drives engagement. Soft Skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy. Time management skills to meet tight deadlines during collection launches.
