Job Overview:
The Accountant at Starke Aquacare Technologies is responsible for managing the company&aposs financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and maintaining up-to-date records for smooth financial operations. This includes overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, GST returns, reconciliation of bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The role requires someone with a strong background in accounting software (Tally), excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage various financial processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurate entry of financial transactions in Tally software.
- Accounts Receivable: Process and maintain records for bills, goods receipt (GR), and payment entries.
- Accounts Payable: Prepare and maintain payment sheets for accounts payable.
- Supplier/Transporter Payments: Ensure supplier and transporter payments are processed only after the bill entry on the Google sheet.
- Export/Local Transactions: Manage bills, invoices, vouchers filing, and TDS deductions for export and local transactions.
- Labor Bills: Review and verify labor bills from the godown and factory.
- Advance Tax Deposit: Ensure timely quarterly advance tax deposits.
- Accounts Checklist: Regularly update the accounts checklist every month.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of the bank statement quarterly with suppliers and buyers.
- Salary Sheet: Prepare salary sheets based on attendance, overtime, and late hours.
- Fortnightly Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements on a fortnightly basis.
- Export Document Submission: Ensure timely submission of export documents to the bank and preparation of BRC (Bank Realization Certificate).
- Sales Invoices: Generate sales invoices for both domestic and export transactions, ensuring accurate Eway bill generation.
- Tender Submissions: Submit tenders on the GEM portal as required.
- Stock Reconciliation: Perform daily stock reconciliation on IMS (Inventory Management System).
- GST Filing: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns).
- GST Records: Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, invoices, and input tax credits (ITC) in compliance with GST laws.
- Tax Optimization: Identify opportunities for tax optimization, maximizing ITC utilization and minimizing tax liabilities in compliance with GST laws.
- Customer Reviews: Reach out to customers to encourage Google reviews for the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor&aposs degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting
(CA Inter, M.Com preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in Tally and GST compliance.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns).
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation, stock management, and export documentation.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and vendors.
- Location: Starke Aquacare Technologies, Sector 21, Gurugram.
- Working Hours: 9:30 am to 6 pm, Full-time, Monday to Saturday
