We are now looking for an experienced and qualified candidate with the main mission to work as Team Manager - Electrification Your main responsibilities in this role will be Leading coaching and developing a team of highly skilled Electrical Engineers in battery design charger system design and micro grid infrastructure development Understand and anticipate the requirements from PC teams and ensure a world class R D support as needed from EITC in a proactive manner Assigning the work in your team providing direction and removing obstacles to get work done Supporting your team in technical discussions to make the right technical decisions Drive design reviews with internal and external stake holders Taking the product ownership mindset for components and systems in your scope and leading the execution of roadmaps Managing resources developing competence and recruiting new talents to meet current and future needs Ensure timely and effective performance and development talks with the team members Lead continuous improvement activities product process tools methods and fostering innovation Managing interfaces towards other functions to support project deliveries and make daily operation more efficient Ensuring project deliverables are on-time with good quality Create awareness and share important technological developments both within and outside the Mining industry for Electrification areas in your team Actively support management team and contributing to overall team development Reporting to Manager in a timely and efficient manner Complying to company policies and follow company values and business code of practice Educational and Work Experience Minimum 12-year experience from product development and People management BE BTech MS MTech in Electrical Engineering Excellent networking communication skills Leadership experience of leading engineering teams Good understanding of various charging protocols CCS MCS etc Good knowledge on Electrical architecture design HV and LV systems Awareness on various communication protocols e g CAN LIN HVIL etc Knowledge of battery and charger design standards Good Understanding of global electrical design safety standard requirements Project management knowledge Personality Requirement Enthusiastic positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment Good interpersonal communication and analytical skills Self-starter and goal oriented Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility Team player - open-minded and flexible Location This position is located in Bangalore Chennai India In this recruitment process we review applications continuously Welcome with your application as soon as possible but no later than 22nd November 2024 United Inspired Performance unites us Innovation inspires us and commitment drives us to keep moving forward In the 150 countries where you can find Epiroc we encourage our employees to take ownership of their own development and careers with the support from their leaders We are committed to give you every opportunity to succeed in a culture of innovation diversity and collaboration combined with a caring atmosphere Diversity and sustainability are key to grow fresh and innovative ideas and solutions for our customers Epiroc is a leading manufacturer for the mining and infrastructure industries Learn more at www epirocgroup com Epiroc
