Senior Device Associates at Amazon work on Manual and Automation Testing for the innovative applications and products at the user level. They are Black Box and automation Testers. They should be able to understand the functionality, execute the test cases accurately and deliver on the committed deadlines. Ability to report the results with proper reporting format. Senior Device Associates at Amazon perform audit on the work done by the DA folks and also triage the bugs created by the DA folks. Key job responsibilities • Successfully test and act as the point of contact for mid-sized components and features without close managerial supervision. • Review new test cases, work instructions, and contribute to improving test coverage and/or processes. • Review the bugs logged by other DAs into the system to ensure they follow guidelines. • Raise bugs and related issues beyond defined SOPs/test methods. You provide data, actively follow up, and help to resolve these issues. • Create detailed status reports that require minimum intervention from higher level DAs or a manager. • Contribute to improvements in test processes, communication, or key project metrics (e.g. throughput, quality). You use data to support your recommendations. • Create SOPs based on existing test methods and processes with little assistance from peers or/your manager. • Provide floor support for DAs queries and are able to unblock them where needed. • Create training modules and share knowledge about testing policies, guidelines, and best practices with your team. • Begin to train new DAs peers About the team Why AWS Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform.
