Your Role

- Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ on distributed platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
- Monitor MQ performance and availability troubleshoot messaging issues.
- Manage MQ objects such as queue managers, queues, channels, and listeners.
- Implement and maintain security protocols for MQ environments.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations of MQ infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and support teams to optimize message flows.
- Develop and maintain documentation for MQ configurations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Provide on-call support and respond to critical incidents.

Your Profile

- Strong experience with IBM MQ installation, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation and monitoring.
- Familiarity with messaging protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S).
- Understanding of SSL/TLS and other security mechanisms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration tools like IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
