In this role, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC principles to ensure that our cloud environments are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. You will work with other engineers and teams to build, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions across multiple cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Implementation:Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. - Cloud Infrastructure Management:Build, manage, and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to ensure that they are scalable, resilient, and cost- effective. - Automation:Automate cloud resource provisioning, deployment, and management to reduce manual intervention and improve system reliability. - Collaboration:Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and requirements. - Cloud Security:Implement cloud security best practices by designing and enforcing security policies for cloud infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Monitoring & Optimization:Implement monitoring solutions to track cloud infrastructure performance and work on cost optimization strategies. - Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for IaC deployments, cloud configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. - Disaster Recovery & Backup:Implement and manage disaster recovery plans for cloud infrastructure to ensure business continuity. - Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest developments in cloud technologies, IaC tools, and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure automation processes. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their services. - Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, or similar tools. - Experience with automation and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and managing cloud resources (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Security Groups). - Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and the ability to implement secure cloud infrastructures. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross- functional team environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect). - Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with IaC tools. - Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices. - Understanding of GitOps for managing infrastructure with version
