Job Description We are hiring on behalf of a leading product company for the position of Senior Software Engineer -2 (SSE - 2) only candidates from B2C product companies will be considered. Job Title: SSE - 2 Experience: 4+years Location Bangalore Job Description: Backend Engineer with a strong foundation and proficient in Node.js, Go, andPython, and experienced in developing web crawlers and using machine learning frameworkslike TensorFlow and PyTorch. The candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing backendsystems, contributing to various projects, and optimizing our technology for better userexperiences and product functionality. The candidate should have experience with leading asmall team of high performing talented engineers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Backend System Development: Design and implement scalable backend servicesusing Node.js, Go, and Python. 2. Machine Learning Integration: Apply machine learning algorithms and frameworks,including TensorFlow and PyTorch, to enhance data analytics and insights. 3. Web Crawling and Data Scraping: Develop and maintain web crawlers and scrapers 4. using tools like Scrapy to gather and process data efficiently. 5. DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for streamlineddeployment and continuous integration. 6. Infrastructure Management: Oversee cloud and on-premises infrastructure,focusing on scalability and system reliability. 7. Collaboration and Agile Development: Work within cross-functional teams, aligningbackend development with broader project objectives and adopting agile methodologies. 8. Agile Project Management: Independently build the engineering backlog, plan sprints,track sprints, measure sprint velocity, and burndown, and ensure timely productdelivery. 9. Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the stability and performance of backendsystems through comprehensive testing and quality control. Qualifications: 1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2. Solid experience in backend development using Node.js, Go, and Python. Aminimum of 4+ years of experience in a high-scale consumer internet startup. 3. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. 4. Proficiency in developing web crawlers and scrapers, with experience using Scrapy. 5. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. 6. Familiarity with handling large-scale data processing and storage. Preferred Skills: Exposure to IoT technologies and data integration from various sources.
