Job Description - Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with organisational goals in the manufacturing industry. - Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations and filing requirements. - Oversee tax audits and respond to queries from tax authorities and beyond. - Collaborate with internal teams to manage tax planning and reporting processes. - Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments. - Provide guidance and training to the tax team to improve operational efficiency. - Coordinate with external consultants and advisors for specialised tax-related matters. - Prepare and present detailed tax reports to senior management for decision-making purposes. The Successful Applicant A successful Head Taxation should have: - A qualified Chartered Accountant. - Comprehensive knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws relevant to the manufacturing industry. - Proven experience in managing tax compliance and audits. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise tax strategies. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. - Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in tax reporting and documentation.
