Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for an SDS2 Checker at GridsGlobal Steel Detailing LLC. The SDS2 Checker will be responsible for reviewing and checking steel detailing drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards. This role involves coordinating with detailers and project managers to ensure the highest quality of deliverables, identifying discrepancies, and suggesting corrections. The SDS2 Checker will also contribute to maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with client requirements and project specifications.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in SDS2 software and min of 5 years of experience in structural steel detailing
- Strong understanding of industry standards, AWS, OSHA, fabrication, and erection processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and checking drawings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
