About The Role: We are looking for a software engineer to join CrowdStrike's global TechOps CICD Software Delivery Automation (SDA) team. You will collaborate with a high-performing, cross-functional team to design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows that power software delivery for millions of customers worldwide. This role focuses on CI/CD pipeline reliability, developer experience, and automation at enterprise scale. What You'll Do: - Design & Build: Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using modern DevOps toolchains - Developer Experience: Create self-service tools and frameworks within the CI/CD space that reduce developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles - Reliability Engineering: Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for our owned services - Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance through pipeline creation and optimization. - Develop and maintain modern web applications using front-end technologies and frameworks - Implement comprehensive testing strategies across the CI/CD pipeline - Create and optimize build tools and development workflows What You'll Need: - 4+ years of front-end/ui platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE experience in enterprise environments - Front-End Development: - Working experience in core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React and Next.js - Testing & Tools: - Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks (QUnit, Mocha, Vitest) - Command-line scripting expertise using Node.js - Hands-on experience with front-end build tooling (Webpack, Npm, React, Vite) - CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms - Containerization: Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration - Programming Skills: Strong scripting abilities in Javascript, Python, Go, or PowerShell - Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture patterns - Version Control: SCM experience including advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab) Preferred Qualifications: - Configuration management experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt) - Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Logscale) - Experience with GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux) Professional Attributes: - Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for working across global, distributed teams - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities - Security Mindset: Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure development practices - Continuous Learning: Self-motivated to stay current with evolving technologies and industry best practices - Quality Focus: Attention to detail with emphasis on documentation, testing, and maintainable solutions Work Environment: - Global, remote-friendly team with occasional travel (1-2 business trips annually) - Collaborative culture emphasizing knowledge sharing and mentorship - Fast-paced environment with opportunities for technical growth and innovation #LI-VJ1 Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike: - Remote-friendly and flexible work culture - Market leader in compensation and equity awards - Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs - Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge - Paid parental and adoption leaves - Professional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role - Employee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections - Vibrant office culture with world class amenities - Great Place to Work Certified across the globe CrowdStrike is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
