SYSTRA has Design and supervision experience of about 40 km of bridges as part of 96 road and highway projects. We are seeking applications for the position of Bridge Engineer (Special Bridges) for Mumbai Coastal Road Project Missions/Main Duties: - Design new bridges and modifications to existing structures - Perform structural analysis and calculations - Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications - Conduct site investigations and surveys - Review and interpret geotechnical and environmental data - Prepare cost estimates and project budgets - Oversee and manage bridge construction projects - Inspect bridges for safety and structural integrity - Write inspection and maintenance reports - Recommend and supervise repair or rehabilitation works - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory codes - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders - Attend meetings and present technical solutions - Maintain records and project documentation - Min 12 yrs professional experience with 5 yrs Relevant Experience as Bridge Engineer Profile/Skills: - Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles - Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, AutoCAD) - Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, AASHTO) - Project management skills - Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications - Site inspection and assessment skills - Problem-solving and analytical thinking - Attention to detail and accuracy - Effective communication and teamwork skills - Report writing and technical documentation abilities - Knowledge of construction materials and methods - Familiarity with health & safety practices - Time management and organizational skills - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies - Client and stakeholder coordination skills : We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
