This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in managing IBM Infosphere DataStage environments and a passion for optimizing enterprise data workflows. Key Responsibilities - Administer and maintain IBM Infosphere DataStage environments using Designer, Director, and Administrator tools - Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot ETL jobs and job sequences - Perform performance tuning and resource optimization for large-scale data processing - Manage user roles, access controls, and security configurations - Handle backup, recovery, and migration of DataStage projects and metadata - Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for deployments and upgrades - Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides - Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards Required Skills & Qualifications - 5.8–9 years of hands-on experience in DataStage administration - Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting - Solid understanding of database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) - Experience with job performance tuning and error resolution - Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN) - Excellent analytical and communication skills - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 🌟 Preferred Skills - Experience with IBM Information Server suite (Quality Stage, Metadata Workbench) - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
