Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

A Day in the Life Responsibilities - Create value across the entire portfolio of :$500M+ - Work independently to build strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers - Lead reporting & data analytics for supplier management & spend program governance - Support implementation of sourcing strategies that result in a sustainable competitive advantage - Assist in supplier relationship management activities for strategic IT services categories - Achieve year on year value improvements for all aspects of service, innovation, and cost - Lead and support complete RFx events for IT services - Lead and support strategic contract negotiations for large scale engagements with sophisticated IT partners - Advise internal stakeholders with a balanced view of contract risk and liabilities and advocate for their interests - Gather market intelligence and industry trends - Recommend solutions to business problems and identify opportunities for improvement - Educate and train stakeholders on key indirect supply management initiatives and policies - Bring forth a mindset of continuous improvement - Lead from your seat We're looking for a highly talented individual who is motivated by setting challenging goals and given the freedom to achieve them. - Work alongside experienced and motivated colleagues who are collaborative, creative and know how to have fun. - Have the opportunity to mentor early to career talent, if this is an area of interest for you Required Knowledge And Experience - Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of sourcing/category management experience. - Growth mindset, passion, curiosity + grit; Must demonstrate a strong desire to learn from every opportunity - Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to drive actionable insights from data - Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
