Job Title Senior Mechanical Engineer Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities across the plant facility Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns to ensure smooth operations Lead mechanical installation commissioning and modification projects Maintain and update maintenance records logs and reports Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental HSE standards Coordinate with the electrical and production departments for smooth plant operations Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement Train and mentor junior mechanical staff and technicians Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repair jobs Requirements Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Proven experience in maintenance and operations Strong knowledge of health safety and environmental standards Should have a good knowledge in Conveyor Belt Ability to work in Kharagpur West Bengal
