Vacancy detailsGeneral informationOrganisation An agricultural cooperative and an international seed group owned by French farmers Limagrain is driven by its purpose cooperating for the progress of agriculture everywhere for everyone Focused on the genetic progress of plants Limagrain breeds produces and distributes field seeds vegetable seeds and agri-food products HM CLAUSE Business Unit of Group Limagrain is an innovative global leader in the development production and commercialization of vegetable seeds HM CLAUSE belongs to the top 5 vegetable seed entities in the world With over 2 000 varieties in more than 20 vegetable crops HM CLAUSE provides innovative solutions to growers worldwide HM CLAUSE is a company committed to diversity and inclusion Reference 2025-10393LocationPORTES LES VALENCEPosition descriptionEmployment TypeRegular Full TimeContractual hoursFull-timeFunctionPRODUCTION OPERATIONS - AGRONOMIC PRODUCTIONMain Goal Managing coordinating developing and improving seed production in Asia Region for export both direct production home-farm and grower network and with vendors Job descriptionAs a member of the Seed Production Seed Supply Management Team GMT contribute to define strategy for the department and execute actions in the Production Operations perimeter Develop and implement a Production Strategy production capacities and locations as an integrated part of our Seed Supply Strategic Roadmap Develop manage the team of Home Farm Managers and Regional Production Managers throughout our production locations in the Region consistent with our management principles Develop implement relevant management infrastructure in order to accomplish the goals of Production Operations establish KPIs develop monitoring mechanism continuous improvement Build Production Operations budget OPCO and CAPEX maintenance and projects to perform the established goals in the Region Budget to be presented and validated by the VP Global Seed Production Seed Supply Ensure reliable Budget Control and avoid uncontrolled deviation without approval Assure homogenous cohesive execution of protocols Sanitary GSPP Shieldxe2x80xa6 and procedures within HM CLAUSE Production perimeter in the Region Encourage best practices and sharing between regions and Home Farms Be an active member of the Limagrain Vegetable Seeds LVS Production Forum through the Expert Groups and encourage synergies for HM CLAUSE and LVS aligned with Strategic Roadmap Develop and Reinforce policies set by Management and ensure that it is applied to all concerned sites phytosanitary protocols seed movement policies safety environmental policies mandatory trainings Limagrain code of conduct Intellectual Property protection Manage the reporting and follow up on all site incidents - audit and follow up on all opportunities that have been identified Manage sites to raise awareness on potential issues with external safety and environmental regulatory requirements country specific Conduct regular reviews with regional local home farm managers to be sure issues are identified and corrected follow up with appropriate internal resources Skills what we expect of youSupply chain experience knowledge is a plus same as seed industry With international experience emphasis in Asia or abroad Asia experience is a plus living in Asia or extensive exposure work in Asia Behaviour SkillsHigh level of ethics and compliance proven and auditable-meaning back reference check IP knowledge over practices and requirements Ability to operate in matrix organization Ability to be hands on over operational tasks without loosing the bigger picture Ability to travel periodically to our VN CN and TH operations and also to our main office in Hyderabad at least 70 in IN and 30 abroad At least 50 time on the field travelling to production locations and spending time in remote areas It could be as an assignment too minimum 3 years CompanyHM CLAUSEPosition localizationJob locationAsia IndiaLocationBengaluru Karnataka IndiaCandidate criteriaMinimum level of education requiredMaster s degreeMinimum level of experience required10 years or more
