Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant Work location: Chennai/Bangalore Work Time: 2PM to 11PM IST Work mode: Hybrid Job Description Job: We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Functional Consultant to join our Oracle Practice team. The ideal candidate should have a strong functional understanding of Oracle Financial modules and hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle EBS R12 versions. Required Skills • Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze financial requirements. • Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS Financial modules, including: o General Ledger (GL) o Accounts Payable (AP) o Accounts Receivable (AR) o Fixed Assets (FA) o Cash Management (CM) • Prepare functional documentation including BR100, MD050, and test scripts. • Perform system configurations, data validations, and UAT support. • Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, reports, interfaces, and conversions (RICE components). • Good experience in 'Month End' Close procedure • Provide post-production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve service requests. Qualification: • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience working with Oracle EBS Financials. • Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting practices. • Proven experience with Oracle EBS R12 in functional configuration and business process mapping. • Strong understanding of integration points between Financials and other modules (e.g., Purchasing, Projects, SCM). • Ability to write functional specifications for customizations and reports. • Experience with Oracle AIM methodologies. • Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
