Job Description Role & responsibilities Purpose of the role The Talent Acquisition HR Specialist for Cafe/store-level hiring is responsible for managing the recruitment process for front-line roles within cafes or retail stores. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that the organization attracts and hires top-quality talent to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence at the store level. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for caf/store-level roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for positions such as Team Members, baristas, Cafe/Store managers, kitchen staff, and other front-line roles and Support roles. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract candidates for caf/store-level roles (e.g., Team Member,baristas, Cafe managers, kitchen staff, support staff ect). Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create robust hiring plans. Utilize job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and local recruitment drives to source candidates. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability. Work closely with store/caf managers and regional teams to align recruitment efforts with operational goals. Provide timely updates on recruitment progress and challenges. Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labor laws and company policies. Maintain accurate records and generate recruitment reports for leadership. Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the orientation and onboarding process for new employees. Ensure that new hires have the necessary resources and information to integrate into the organization smoothly. Employee Relations: Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management. Address and investigate employee complaints or concerns. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Training and Development: Coordinate with training team for employee onboarding plan. Support employees in their professional development. Performance Management: Assisting in the performance management process, which includes conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing performance-related issues. HR Policies and Compliance: Deploy and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in employment law and update policies accordingly. Reporting and Data Analysis: - Generate HR reports on key metrics, such as turnover, recruitment, and diversity. - Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for HR strategies. - Maintaining accurate records of employee relations activities, including investigations, complaints, and resolutions. Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale. Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results. HR Information Systems: Oversee the management of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to maintain accurate employee records. Utilize technology to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency. Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience 2 to 4 years 1+ Years - experience in FMCG/Retail chains, food service, or hospitality industries.
