As a Senior Technical Writer @ Wingify, you design and develop learning and practicing experiences to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies effectively and appealingly. Also, you must be able to convert the highly complex and technical knowledge into readable and concise functional descriptions for a different set of audiences.

Responsibilities

- Create engaging and compelling Knowledge base article
- Writing technical documentation for our core product http://vwo.com
- Working with the engineering and product team to document new product feature
- Updating current knowledge base documentation & devising processes to ensure that the KB is always up to date
- Constantly focus on improving KB from a usability perspective
- Seek feedback from internal and external stakeholders and incorporate the same
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced manner and work with multiple agile teams for weekly release
- Create illustrations, diagrams, and other visuals that explain technical concept
- Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's documentation need
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
- Proofread and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language and style, as well as technical accuracy
- Record video tutorials that show how to use technical products

Required Skills And Experience

- Experience as a technical writer: 5-6+ years
- GenAI Proficiency: Proven experience in leveraging Generative AI tools for documentation automation.
- Should have strong technical skills and a passion for learning newer technologies
- Should have a good understanding of web technologies
- Lead initiatives to integrate GenAI technologies for automating documentation tasks, improving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
- Must have the necessary writing and editing expertise and authoring tools to develop appropriate audience-specific documents
- Should have the ability to find new and exciting ways to present the information to a different set of audiences
- Should know how the technology works and be able to curate it in a readable, concise, and accurate manner
- Should be able to determine the documentation needs, understand user requirements and create/design documentation accordingly
- Must ensure that all information is consistent, easy to understand, and well organized
