Job Summary Sound understanding of Banking Regulations like Basel Extensive SQL similar tools experience in Data Analysis Manage day to day ad-hoc business requests for information and analysis Leadership skills and presentation skills are highly desirable Provide leadership to Business Analysts working in the program and assume accountabilities for all the deliverables Responsible for capturing elaborating business requirements real-time analytics use cases in the journey customer campaign and real-time analytics and translate them into user stories and functional design Engage and Elicit business requirements from stakeholders in a challenging environment Documenting the process data flows data mapping processing and validation rules for use cases Ensure development team is able to deliver to business requirements Adhere to SCRUM timeline and deliver accordingly Prepare User Manuals and conduct Business User training sessions on product Key Responsibilities Strategy Providing thought leadership on solutions and collaborating across team and functional lines Awareness and understanding of the Group business strategy appropriate to the role Business Driving operational efficiency and effectiveness for processes and projects under area of responsibility Create strong blending data capabilities within team Processes Take ownership for all delivery within the function or processes assigned acting as a single point of contact for the services rendered Prepare and or contribute to regular updates for various committees and governance forums Lead deliver data analytics for BIA of all change initiatives impacting supported functions segments Lead engagement with multiple change project teams internal stakeholders on changes impacting supported processes Deliver comprehensive impact analysis covering short and long-term impacts Disseminate the knowledge on existing as well as ongoing changes happening in the Regulatory Reporting area in an organized manner to the rest of the team members and bring them up to speed to perform the activities Work towards continuous improvement to identify and implement opportunities to decrease process turn-around time and improve productivity People Talent Leading through example by upholding high standards of excellence ethics code of conduct governance and risk awareness and stakeholder partnership collaboration Developing a high-quality performance team through effective and diversified hiring practices clear guidance and feedback training mentorship conducting fair and transparent performance evaluations and frequent staff upskilling job rotations and stretch assignments driving the employment engagement and retention of high quality resources Ensuring the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks Providing effective supervision team structure capacity planning succession planning and correct allocation of work to staff vis-a-vis the assessment of their strengths abilities and level of motivation Formulating and monitoring job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives Risk Management Proactive monitoring of key entity or industry wide events and or developments as well as of covenants and risk triggers where applicable Governance Ensure lead and monitor strict adherence to regulatory requirements Ensure strong due diligence on document safekeeping and data confidentiality Ensure risks are clearly identified quantified and escalated Ensure compliance with relevant internal external policies and procedures regulatory and statutory requirements Regulatory Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in letter and spirit all applicable laws regulations guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct Effectively and collaboratively identify escalate mitigate and resolve risk conduct and compliance matters Key stakeholders Senior Program Project Management -
