MDG Technical Consultant

Location: Bangalore, India

Type: 1-Year Contract (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant to join our client's team for a prestigious client engagement with Global Consultancy Company in India. This is a 1-year contract role based out of Bangalore, and we are looking for immediate joiners with deep hands-on expertise in SAP MDG technical implementation and support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement new features in the SAP MDG application.
- Develop and validate technical solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Build prototypes and proof of concepts as needed.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for MDG-related issues.
- Collaborate with functional teams to align MDG capabilities with business use cases.
- Contribute to SAP MDG implementation projects for master data domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance.
- Configure and enhance Process Modeling, including Change Request setup and workflow step definitions.
- Support UAT and Go-Live phases of MDG implementation projects.
- Work on S/4 HANA data migration initiatives.

Required Technical Skills:

- 4 to 8 years of SAP MDG (Configuration, Data Modelling, UI Modelling, Process Modelling)
- Data Replication Techniques, including ALE/IDocs, Webservices
- MDG Error Handling
- Webdynpro, FPM, and SAP NetWeaver
- Strong ABAP skills, including:
- ABAP Reporting
- Object-Oriented ABAP
- BADI Implementations
- LSMW and other Migration Tools
- Custom Report Development
- SAP Workflow
- BRF+ for rule-based workflow and decision logic

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech or equivalent)
