Job Description About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer (Gen AI) to join our growing team at Matellio. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing AI-powered applications, hands-on experience with Generative AI models, and the ability to design scalable AI solutions that drive business innovation and efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement AI applications and solutions using Python. - Work on Generative AI (Gen AI) projects and build tools to automate and optimize repetitive organizational tasks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, test, and deliver new features and enhancements. - Conduct regular testing, performance tuning, and optimization of AI systems and software. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and scalability of AI solutions. - Stay abreast of the latest trends in AI/ML and Gen AI, integrating new technologies where relevant. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and junior engineers. Required Skills & Qualifications - Minimum 3+ years of overall experience, with at least 3 years of relevant AI/ML development experience including lead exposure. - Proven expertise as an AI Developer / ML Engineer or in a similar role. - Proficiency in Python and related AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). - Hands-on experience with Generative AI models such as ChatGPT, LLaMA2, and Mistral, including the ability to set up local GPTs using tools like Ollama or LM Studio. - Strong understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and multi-agent frameworks for workflow automation. - Experience with LangChain or equivalent tools such as LlamaIndex or LangGraph. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and ML fundamentals. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. - Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. -
