Job Description RC - Area Credit Manager - Mortgages Credit INTERNAL USAGE: No. of Vacancies: Reports to: RCM Is a Team leader Y Team Size: 5-7 Grade: M/SM/AVP Business: Underwriting Department: Retail Credit Sub-Department: CPC Location: About Retail Credit The Retail Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all retail products of the Bank. It is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a good portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes AbouttheRole Area Credit Manager is Team Leader Role with CPC Credit underwriting managers reporting. Ensure smooth functioning of Credit Processing Centre, which is responsible for processing and underwriting of Centralised & Decentralised Files. Key Responsibilities - Monitoring Turnaround time (TAT) from Login to Sanction - Login to Sanction for all products at desired levels. - Ensure the quality of proposals and credit appraisal to minimize delinquency. - Ensuring compliance of Audit & Compliance reviews. - Ensuring quality of Data entry with minimal error ratio and non-repetition of Audit Observations. - Periodic Training, policy feedback, vendor management, participation in pilot runs/testing etc. - Stakeholder management. Regular meeting with competitors, analyse market feedback from different stakeholders to benchmark the competition. - Idea generation for new projects for process efficiency and cost saving. Qualifications Graduate / Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) Experience in retail credit with team handling. Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess: Knowledge of credit, industry and product trends Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
