Job Description ORACLE India's Financial Services Global Business Unit need Java Developers comfortable to work on a regular morning shift and hybrid setup for either of these locations: Bangalore or Chennai Offices. Minimum requirements are 5 years Java and PL/SQL Developer experience and must be knowledgeable with: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP, and REST-based web services. It is also necessary that applicants have experience with Banking Products and/or Core Banking Domain. The offer is for a full-time employment that begins with a 6 months probatinary period too. OFSS Consulting is part of the Financial Services Global unit and provides a variety of consulting services covering new implementations, upgrades, customization, and managed services for industry-leading products like FLEXCUBE, DIGIX, Analytics, Pricing and Billing, Leasing and Lending, and Oracle Banking Products. Job Summary We are seeking aspirational graduates interested in a career in Consulting to join our niche Banking Domain and Practice. As a Consultant, you will support Senior Consultants, Project Managers, and teams of talented, professional business and technology consultants in the delivery of business-focused solutions for our clients using Oracle applications, tools, and technology. Key Responsibilities - Develop skills and competence on our products in terms of functionality, design, and architecture - Develop extensions or customization around our products in context of customer asks, including UI/UX, business functionality, interfaces, and integration, or reports and visualizations - Assist in the testing and deployment of the product and the customization and developments - Prepare documentation, including program specifications, unit test plans, test cases, technical documentation, release notes, and status reports - Engage with customers at all levels to deliver high-quality projects, services, and advice Qualifications & Skills Mandatory: - Recent graduate or post-graduate with 3-12 years of field experience - Good knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP, and REST-based web services - Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, Junit, JMeter, Eclipse, GIT, Jira, Ant, and Unix Shell scripting - Exposure to application servers, middleware concepts, and security concepts - Sound knowledge of SDLC, including waterfall and agile models - Strong analytical and communication skills - Experience working with Banking Products or Core Banking Domain Desired: - Experience in working in the BFSI domain, specifically in banking - Strong Oracle tech skills, including PL/SQL, SQL, and Java - Experience in end-to-end implementation of solutions from inception to go-live - Strong problem-solving skills and experience in supporting critical phases of projects
