Job Title Assistant Manager - Salon Location Kottayam Department Operations Job Purpose The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Salon Manager in day-to-day operations ensuring smooth functioning of the salon delivering excellent customer service supervising staff performance maintaining hygiene and service standards and achieving business targets Key Responsibilities Operations Customer Service Assist the Salon Manager in daily operations and overall management of the salon Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service and handling client queries complaints promptly Monitor appointment scheduling client flow and waiting times to optimize customer experience Oversee cleanliness hygiene and ambiance of the salon as per company standards Team Management Supervise salon staff stylists beauticians receptionists cleaners etc and assign tasks shifts as per requirement Support in training motivating and developing staff to maintain service excellence Ensure staff follows company policies grooming standards and operational protocols Handle attendance leave approvals and shift planning in coordination with the Manager HR Sales Business Development Assist in achieving sales targets for services retail products and memberships Promote upselling and cross-selling of salon services and products Track daily weekly monthly sales reports and update management Support in implementing promotional campaigns offers and marketing initiatives Financial Inventory Management Monitor cash handling billing and ensure accurate daily closure of accounts Maintain stock of products and consumables ensure proper usage and minimal wastage Conduct inventory checks and place requisitions as needed Compliance Standards Ensure adherence to health safety and hygiene standards at all times Maintain compliance with company SOPs labor laws and other regulatory requirements Qualifications Skills Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Beauty Wellness Management or related field 3-6 years of experience in salon spa retail operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure and handle escalations effectively Knowledge of salon services treatments and beauty products preferred Proficiency in MS Office salon management software is an added advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person Expected Start Date 01 09 2025
