Job Title: Snowflake Architect Location: [Chennai / Bengaluru / Pune / Mumbai or Remote] Experience Required: 10+ Years Employment Type: [Full-Time] Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake’s advanced features and a strong background in cloud-based data engineering, with bonus experience in AWS, Python, and PySpark. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust data architectures on Snowflake. Develop and maintain complex data pipelines, transformations, and stored procedures using Snowflake SQL. Utilize advanced Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, and Time Travel for real-time and historical data processing. Integrate data from internal and external sources using ETL/ELT processes. Analyse and optimize query performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies. Ensure data security and compliance through role-based access control, encryption, and governance policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable data solutions. Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake. Strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration strategies. Familiarity with Snowflake features: Snowpipe, Streams, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning. Solid understanding of data security, access control, and compliance standards. Bonus Skills: Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Glue, Step Functions). Proficiency in Python and PySpark. Exposure to DBT, Airflow, or other orchestration tools.
