Job Title: Solar Design Engineer (Mid-Level) Location: Mumbai (with site visits) Job Summary: TrueSun Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Solar Design Engineer to lead on-site assessments and prepare detailed solar PV system designs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop projects and a strong understanding of structural design and aesthetics. Key Responsibilities: - Collect information from site engineer - Design solar layouts using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and PVsyst. - Ensure designs meet load, wind, and safety standards. - Optimize system design for aesthetics, performance, and cost. - Coordinate with the execution team for design validation and updates. - Prepare GA drawings, shading analysis, and cable routing layouts. - Check the site while execution if they adhere to all civil and electrical drawings - Stay updated with industry standards. Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. - 2–5 years of experience in rooftop solar design (India-specific). - Strong skills in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Excel. - Attention to detail and passion for sustainable design.
