We are looking for Cloud Security Engineer for our company on contract in Mumbai.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer with strong expertise in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security controls, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks across cloud infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native security controls (IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Center, etc.).

• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing in cloud environments.

• Implement and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, RBAC, and SSO integrations.

• Monitor and respond to cloud security incidents, leveraging SIEM, SOAR, and logging tools.

• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Work with DevOps teams to integrate security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).

• Define and maintain network security policies (firewalls, VPNs, VPC security, zero-trust models).

• Perform data security and encryption implementation (at rest, in transit, and in use).

• Conduct security reviews of cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, AppSec, Infrastructure) to enforce security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 3+ years in cloud security.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP security services.

• Expertise in IAM, network security, cloud firewalls, and encryption technologies.

• Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK, Sentinel).

• Proficiency in container security (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE).

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

• Familiarity with cloud compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, PCI-DSS).

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.

• Excellent problem-solving and incident response skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant cloud certifications:

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty

• Azure Security Engineer Associate

• Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer

• Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, OSCP (nice to have).

• Experience in Zero Trust Architecture and cloud-native security monitoring
