a high-growth dynamic company in an extraordinary industry We innovate the leading-edge of clinical research data We do it faster better and with an eye on the future of our industry Role PurposeSignant Health has embarked on an Enterprise IT application improvement strategy to Enable Your Best Work Were currently searching for an Applications Engineer with application engineer expertise to work as part of the Enterprise Solution Services team The ideal candidate will have experience as an Applications Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement and automation You must also demonstrate proficiency in analyzing developing maintaining and enhancing strategic solutions for Signant Healths Enterprise Applications Primary focus on the Atlassian Suite Jira Bitbucket Confluence Want to join the Best Team of Your LifeWere looking for people who are excited by the potential to make a difference in the world You need to be decisive open to celebrating mistakes able to communicate transparently and inclusively and someone your team can count on Most of all you need to be yourself As part of our team your Key Accountabilities Responsible for development within Enterprise Applications to meet business needs based upon provided requirements Perform debugging testing code improvement and re-designing tasks Optimize enterprise applications by integrating new technologies and performing upgrades to ensure the applications stay up-to-date and continue to satisfy customer needs Responsible for documenting development processes procedures and application version histories Ensure change management processes are continuously followed documented and tested to meet our business requirements Triage support issues related to Enterprise Applications that can not be covered by Tier 1 support while focusing on expanding the support knowledge base and training for Tier 1 support Work directly with internal external developers to drive and coordinate larger projects while assisting with execution Provide training to individuals and user groups within the company when needed Keep up with advancements in application engineering and new technologies Take the lead in continuous business improvement by regularly advising management of improvements to applications services and processes that enhance efficiency scalability and or security Provide direction and solutions that support the company and department strategic initiatives This position will cover Night Shift IST to support US time zone coverage Youll need to bring - Minimum of 8 years experience as an applications engineer Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience Solid understanding of implementation of engineering solutions Working experience with Application APIs Working experience with troubleshooting applications hosted in an AWS environment Pragmatic problem-solver possessing outstanding attention to detail and a proven ability to break problems down and resolve them efficiently A clear and effective communication style when providing updates on support requests as well as project status updates Approachable and knowledgeable communication style with all levels of co-workers Great organizational and time management skills The ability to thrive in a high-volume fast-paced and feedback-driven environment We would be thrilled if you bring in the below Atlassian certifications desired Jira Confluence Bitbucket etc Knowledge of Box administration and APIs is a plus An understanding of and ability to troubleshoot SSO and SCIM provisioning Experience working in an Agile environment with strong teamwork experience Understanding of ITIL framework Incident Change Demand and Release Management We know that everyone has different wants and needs which is why along with a highly competitive base salary we support our people and their loved ones with a variety of perks and benefits As part of our team some of the benefits you can expect to receive are Medical Insurance Group Accidental Coverage Insurance Group Term Life Insurance Company Paid Subscription to Calm -
