We are seeking a

Network Engineer

on a

1-month temporary contract

to support IT infrastructure activities in Bengaluru. The role involves structured cabling, installation, troubleshooting, and first-level support to ensure smooth operations during ongoing IT projects.

Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test structured cabling (copper & fiber).
Provide first-level troubleshooting for cabling and connectivity issues.
Assist with rack installations, patch panels, and network equipment setup.
Maintain proper labeling and documentation of cabling layouts.
Perform preventive maintenance and ensure adherence to cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO).
Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers or vendors when necessary.
Ensure work is completed within project timelines and safety protocols.

Requirements
1–3 years of hands-on experience in cabling, IT infrastructure, or related roles.
Familiarity with copper and fiber optic cabling standards.
Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers).
Experience using cable testers and troubleshooting tools.
Ability to work independently within strict timelines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant certifications (CCNA, BICSI, or cabling certifications) will be a plus.
