Job Description Job Title:Databricks Architect Experience:12+years] Job Summary: We are seeking an experiencedDatabricks Architectto design, implement, and optimize data solutions on the Databricks platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and analytics architectures, with strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and development teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable data solutions onDatabricksfor large-scale analytics and ETL pipelines. - Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Architect and optimizeApache Sparkworkloads for performance, cost, and reliability. - Ensure best practices indata modeling, governance, security, and compliance. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. - Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for the organization's big data ecosystem. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments. - Develop documentation, runbooks, and guidelines for Databricks implementation and usage. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong experience inDatabricks,Apache Spark,Delta Lake, andSpark SQL. - Hands-on expertise incloud platformssuch as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Proficiency inPython, Scala, or Javafor Spark applications. - Solid experience indata warehousing, ETL processes, and big data architectures. - Understanding ofCI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Experience withdata governance, security, and compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge ofstreaming data processing(e.g., Structured Streaming, Kafka). - Experience withBI toolssuch as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. - Familiarity withmachine learning workflowson Databricks. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.
