Business Microgrid line of business Digital Energy Division Energy Management Location Bengaluru India About Microgrid Line of BusinessThe Microgrid business is core to Schneider Electrics strategy and is one of the pillars of its Sustainability Digitization and Electrification agenda Microgrids are key to the transformation and reshaping of the global Energy landscape to build more cost effective sustainable and resilient energy systems supporting the global Energy transition The Microgrid Line of Business is providing the software the architectures and the necessary system components to allow Commercial and Industrial customers to design build operate and maintain their distributed energy resources in grid or off grid connected mode enabling them to reach their energy sustainability Net-zero and resilience objectives in a profitable manner About the roleThis role has the mandate to ramp up and lead the software organization for Microgrid LOB in India The incumbent works with the R D director and other leaders globally as well as support organizations of the LOB ensuring that all the teams are aligned with business goals and delivering high-quality software that meet the needs of the business and its customers He She would be responsible for building and leading large high performing teams including contractors delivering on high value impactful solutions The role will be owning the full tech stack of the application in the long run and should bring value on how to structure and lead the Application development in India This role will report to the Microgrid R D Director and work in close collaboration with global stakeholders from Offer Marketing other R D teams and Innovation function across locations in including France and USA Role and Responsibilitiesxc2xa7 Technical leadershipLead a software team comprising of all the competencies related to Software development As per Microgrid offer roadmap oversee the planning execution and delivery of projects ensuring that they are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards xc2xa7 Technical expertiseBuild and own the software strategy for the LoB working closely with the team of Architects Maintain a deep understanding of Microgrid technologies SaaS Software Control Power Systems and Sustainability principles and keep up to date with emerging trends and best practices to be able to build strategies and lead the Application Development in India xc2xa7 Agile TransformationTransform R D processes methodologies and tools to optimize productivity efficiency and quality xc2xa7 Talent developmentDevelop and mentor all resources to help them achieve their career goals and grow their skills and knowledge to create a high-performance culture Incumbent would be required to create a lean agile team which will move swiftly in a fast-paced dynamic environment and scale it up to meet a high growth business xc2xa7 CollaborationFoster collaboration with cross-functional teams including Offer Marketing other R D teams Project Managers to ensure that R D projects are being executed as per the roadmap xc2xa7 InnovationFoster a culture of innovation in the team by allowing the team to take right level of risk and by creating a safe environment for thinking outside the box in order to arrive at the best solution for business problems Qualificationsxc2xa7 Demonstrated leadership competencies in Software development area Experience in SaaS Power Systems and Controls is a plus xc2xa7 Passion for Sustainability Energy Efficiency scaling up the business xc2xa7 Experience of setting up a team and scaling a startup business using Agile Lean methodologies xc2xa7 A commitment to diversity of thought inclusion and a global international view and experience is required xc2xa7 Technical credibility and executive presence and ability to quickly gain the confidence in people managementxc2xa7 Ability to navigate in a large corporate organization as well as an entrepreneurial spirit xc2xa7 Masters degree in Engineering preferably followed by 10 years of related experience with multinational organizations
