Job Description

Infor Design is looking for an experienced Sr. JavaScript and TypeScript Developer, passionate about creating complex front-end solutions, using the latest technologies, and best practices. The candidate will be working on several projects, including improving, and supporting the Infor Design System, a complex, large scale, enterprise grade front-end component library used across Infor.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

- Work on tasks assigned
- Review Pull Requests
- Attending Agile ceremonies
- Attending team meetings and 101s
- Conduct Code Pairing sessions
- Review architectural changes
- Perform research on new technologies

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
- At least 4 years of engineering experience, a large portion of which in a team environment
- Extensive experience working with JS frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, or Vanilla) and TypeScript
- Experience creating frontend solution from scratch, and/or knowing the behind the scenes of modern frontend frameworks parts (Routing, Binding, Virtual Dom, Async Rendering)
- Experience with the latest CSS technologies (SASS, LESS), and building responsive HTML layouts
- Experience architecting highly performant complex application from the ground up
- Experience mentoring and be mentored by other engineers
- Basic knowledge of the Web Components technology
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and programming languages
- Experience working closely with product teams, designers, and other developers to create a truly delightful experience
- A disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment
- Experience with Git workflows, Code Reviews, and CI/CD
- A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things higher
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy

- Experience with the Web Components technology
- Familiarity with Backend technologies, and programming languages (Python or similar)
- Experience working with Design Systems
- Experience building a front-end framework from scratch
- Backend/DevOps/AWS programming experience
- Experience working in the Enterprise sector
