Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software product.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a changing organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects

Responsibilities

- Lead in a strategic area for growth of the YouTube Ads business.
- Design solutions across the entire ads stack including infrastructure, quality, experimentation, and provide technical guidance for the team.
- Create and extend existing products for SMB advertisers to support the growth of YouTube Ads, and work with the broader organization to establish team direction and the short-term and long-term project roadmaps.
- Drive cross-functional and cross-geo collaboration with teams in YouTube and Ads spanning Product, UX and Engineering, and develop positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring that work is completed on time.
