Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

- To ensure optimal performance and reliability, develop and implement network designs, including topology, protocols, and network security measures.
- Regularly monitor network systems and proactively identify and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Lead and manage a team of network professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they perform their roles effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, processes, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and future network enhancements.
- Well versed with Security skills (Checkpoint & cisco FTD Firewalls ,IPS).
- Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols like, Advance persistent threats,
- Expertise knowledge in Cisco Products (Nexus 9K,ACI,Cisco FTD,Router & switches)
- Hands on experience on SDN CISCO ACI.
- Experience in implementation and management of complex and critical security controls.
- Hands on experience on NAT configuration on firewall.
- Ability to convert and review firewall policies.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and fixing Major Network issues (Priority Medium to Critical)
- Provide appropriate guidance to L1/L2 team
- Knowledge on Routing and Switching to perform end to end route check.
- Incident& Problem Management - Tracking and Co-ordination of all incidents / problems till resolution Identification of probable causes of failures in the WAN environment Recommend on the possible solution / workaround to address the probable causes of failure. Performing router, switch configuration.
- Good communication and presenting skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement / Client Relationship Management
- Very good attitude, good listener and adapter
- Motivated and proactive and ready to take more challenges.
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts.
- Relevant and proven record of accomplishment in technical, highly innovative environments.

Skills Required:

- Lead a team of Network engineers to provide 24x7 network support
- Hands on experience on Checkpoint Firewall & Cisco FTD.
- Sound knowledge on Checkpoint Firewall & Cisco FTD.
- Hands on experience on nexus switches (3k,7k,9K) VDC, VPC, Port-channel.
- Hands on experience on Load balancer.
- Hands on experience on SDN CISCO ACI.
- Technical co-ordination with the OEM support in the event of any Technology assistance
- Exceptional problem solving, issue resolution and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a highly matrix environment.
- Good communication and presenting skills.
- Motivated and proactive and ready to take more challenges.
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts.

Qualifications:

- Minimum qualification for Team lead should be B.E / B. Tech. with 6 years or higher experience and CCNP or equivalent Certified. TL should have experience to handle SDN solutions or PMP/PRINCE 2 Certified.
- Must have ability to support flexible schedule in support of 7x24 operations.
- Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, goal oriented and strong team player.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work off hours when needed
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
