Primary: Hyper-V and Windows Admin Job Description: Preferred Location: Hyderabad Experience Range: 6-8 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server and VMware administration. The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Windows and VMware environments. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and a proactive approach to system improvements and problem-solving. Windows Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019 environments. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core Windows services. Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server operations. VMware Administration: Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, and migrations. Monitor virtual machine performance and resource allocation. Implement and manage VMware backup solutions and disaster recovery plans. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Utilize monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of servers and virtual machines. Perform routine maintenance and proactive management to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices across Windows and VMware environments. Ensure systems are compliant with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure problems. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
