Their mission is to empower businesses to deliver better customer experiences and operational efficiency through intelligent, personalised, and scalable knowledge assistance solutions. They are seeking a strategic and operationally strong Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive growth, scale, and operational excellence.

Role Overview

The COO will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s operational and strategic vision. This leader will oversee daily operations, optimise business processes, scale growth operations, and drive cross-functional collaboration across product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with experience in the technology space, particularly AI and SaaS, and a proven track record of scaling businesses.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company’s growth objectives and long-term vision.
- Optimise business processes, workflows, and KPIs across all departments.
- Lead business planning and forecasting in collaboration with the executive team.

2. Scaling Growth Operations:

- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and monetisation strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
- Build and scale a high-performance customer success function to ensure seamless product adoption and satisfaction.
- Create scalable processes for rapid expansion in B2B2C markets.

3. Financial & Resource Management:

- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and P&L management to drive operational efficiencies and profitability.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and optimise cost structures without compromising customer value.

4. Product & Technology Alignment:

- Collaborate with the Chief Product Officer and CTO to ensure operational excellence in product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure that AI-driven solutions meet market demands and customer expectations.

5. Team Leadership & Culture Building:

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across operations, customer success, and sales enablement functions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability throughout the organisation.

6. Risk & Compliance Management:

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and data privacy requirements.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, preferably in the technology, AI, SaaS sectors.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading large, diverse teams and scaling businesses globally.
- Operational Excellence: Expertise in designing and optimising processes to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to create and execute strategic growth and operational plans.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer-centric strategies for B2B2C business models.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial planning, budgeting, and P&L management experience.
