Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Managing Editor located in Hyderabad. The Quality Managing Editor will oversee the editorial processes, ensure adherence to publication standards, and maintain the integrity and quality of published content. Responsibilities include managing peer review processes, coordinating with authors and reviewers, editing and proofreading manuscripts, implementing editorial policies, and ensuring timely publication of articles. The role also involves providing feedback to improve the editorial workflow and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Qualifications - Strong skills in Editing, Proofreading, and Copy Editing - Proficiency in Content Management and Editorial Policy Implementation - Ability to manage Peer Review Processes and coordinate communication between authors, reviewers, and the publication team - Excellent Research and Writing skills - Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high publication standards - Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills - Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Prior experience in academic publishing, journalism, or an editorial role is preferred - Familiarity with open-access publishing practices and scientific disciplines is an asset
